My name is Debbie Carter and I am a qualified Psychodynamic counsellor. I am currently offering counselling sessions via telephone or video calls and I hope to be able to offer face to face sessions soon.
I understand all too well that there are occasions in our lives when life itself can become confusing and overwhelming. This can result in us struggling to cope and make sense of it all, which can impact on our own well-being, as well as our relationships and working life. Sometimes it can be really hard to imagine a way forward from your current difficulties and this is where I can help you gain an understanding and clarity on your situation.
Areas I can help with either by brief focused or longer term counselling.
- Anger Management
- Domestic Violence
- Eating Disorders
- Low Self-Confidence
- Low Self-Esteem
- Relationship Issues
- Work Related Issues
Why Choose Private Counselling?
Currently many NHS services and GP’s can only offer a very limited amount of counselling sessions. The waiting lists can be long which means a delay and sessions are generally offered within normal office hours. Choosing to go private gives you the freedom to choose your own counsellor and also the type of therapy that feels right for you. You can choose the time and day of your sessions to suit yourself and as you are not sitting on a waiting list, there is no delay.
